Who can hold a pancake fundraiser?
Schools, PTOs, sports teams, clubs, nonprofits, and other community groups are welcome to inquire. The BBQ Pit reviews each request before confirming an event.
How does the fundraiser work?
Your group promotes the event and sells tickets to supporters. The BBQ Pit prepares and serves a pancake breakfast, and your group earns money for every ticket sold.
How much does a ticket cost?
Tickets are $10 per person, for all ages.
How much will our group earn?
Your organization receives $5 for every ticket sold. For example, selling 100 tickets raises $500 for your group before any expenses your group incurs.
What is included with a ticket?
Pancakes, a breakfast protein, and one fountain or breakfast beverage. The exact plate and any substitution options will be confirmed before ticket sales begin.
When can we hold our fundraiser?
Dates and times depend on restaurant availability and the expected number of guests. Please reach out four to six weeks before your preferred date if possible.
How many tickets do we need to sell?
A goal of at least 50 advance sales is suggested. The BBQ Pit will confirm any minimum and the maximum number of guests when reviewing your request.
Can people buy tickets at the door?
Possibly, if space is available. Advance ticket sales help the restaurant prepare the right amount of food and seating.
Do regular restaurant or delivery orders count toward our fundraiser?
Only fundraiser tickets count unless a separate promotion is included in your event agreement.
What does our group need to do?
Your group promotes the breakfast, sells tickets, provides an event contact, and supplies any volunteers agreed upon with the restaurant. The BBQ Pit handles food preparation and service.
Can we collect additional donations or hold a raffle?
Please discuss those plans with the event manager before promoting them.
